Morristown High School (Morris County) is going all-remote for three days after “a person affiliated with the school” tested positive for Covid and had contact with other students. Thirty-seven people are quaranteed for 14 days.

Ocean Township Public Schools in Ocean County will go all-virtual for three days — until Thursday — because of a covid case that affected three district schools.

East Hanover High School in Monmouth will go virtual

Three out of six school buildings in Mahwah Public Schools (Bergen County) are closed because of Covid-19 cases. The district had been hybrid; those three schools are fully virtual.

At East Brunswick High School in Middlesex County, 10 teachers and 27 students are being quarantined after having close contact with three people diagnosed with Covid-19.

Three people (at least one student) at  Nut Swamp Elementary School in Middletown (Monmouth County) were diagnosed with Covid-19.

Washington Township Public Schools in Gloucester Countywas scheduled to begin in-person classes today but will delay reopening until Friday. The district had gone all-remote after four staff members tested positive. Over the weekend there were reports that students were socializing without masks or social-distancing.

Belvedere Public Schools in Warren County closed Friday because of a positive COVID-19 case. All district buildings were being thoroughly cleaned in anticipation of reopening on Monday.

Lenape Regional High School — which serves Evesham Township, Medford Lakes, Medford Township, Mount Laurel Township, Shamong Township, Southampton Township, Tabernacle Township and Woodland Township in Burlington County– closed last week because of two cases but is scheduled to reopen today.

Westfield High School in Union County, which had a hybrid schedule, is going all-remote after 6 students tested positive for the virus. The current reopening date for hybrid learning is October 1st.

West Windsor-Plainsboro Community Middle School in Mercer County will move from hybrid to all-remote after a teacher tested positive. The school could reopen as soon as Monday.

Hopeweill Valley Central High School in Mercer County has one case of COVID-19. The school will be closed to staff and students until Monday, Sept. 21 and all afterschool activities are canceled until then.

Pompton Lakes High School in Passaic County moved all students to remote learning as of today (Wednesday, Sept. 15) through Sept. 29 because school officials learned Tuesday night that a teacher tested positive for COVID-19 and contact tracing had not yet begun. Three upperclassman from the high school tested positive last week.

Woodcliff Lake Middle School in Bergen County, which was operating as a hybrid, will be closed until Sept. 23d because a teacher was diagnosed with COVID-19.

Griebling School in Howell School District, Monmouth County: One staff member or student (district didn’t specify). School was running a hybrid program and is now going fully remote.

Chatham High School in School District of the Chathams, Morris County. One student tested positive. The district was running a hybrid program and is going fully remote for an unspecified number of days. Update: 30 high school students tested posted after a Labor Day Party. Chatham High School will be fully remote until at least Sept. 29th.

Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School in East Brunswick. One student tested positive and the school will be fully remote until Sept. 21st.

Markham Place School in Little Silver School District in Monmouth County. One student tested positive on the second day of school. Students will learn remotely “until further notice.”

Hacketstown High School in Hacketstown Public School District, Warren County. One student tested positive. Those in close contact will be quarantined and school will retain its hybrid schedule.

Hurffville Elementary School in Washington Township, Gloucester County. Two staff members tested positive and the school went fully remote but will resume hybrid learning on Sept. 28th. Another staff member tested positive at Washington Township High School and will resume hybrid learning on September 24th if contact tracing is complete.

An unspecified school in Frankford Township Public School District, Sussex County. One student tested positive. Schools will go fully remote for two weeks instead of the original hybrid schedule.

Thomas A. Edison Career and Technical Academy in Elizabeth, Union County. The school is already fully remote but teachers teach from their classrooms and one teacher tested positive. The school closed for one day for deep cleaning.

 Jackson Memorial High School in Ocean County eported one case of a student who tested positive for Covid-19. The school is using a hybrid schedule and no closures were deemed necessary.

A teacher at Northern Burlington Middle School in Burlington County tested positive for Covid-19. The school is already fully remote, although teachers were in the building for four days for professional development.
