The State of Education in New Jersey 2023

Over the last few years, New Jersey’s K-12 public schools have suffered a double-whammy of pandemic-induced learning disruptions as well as gender and racial issues often referred to as  “culture wars.” NJ Education Report is gauging reader sentiments about these issues as we continue to shine a light on student proficiency disparities and the role of the State Education Department in closing learning gaps and providing equitable access for our 1.3 million students.
