November 10, 2023New Jersey Teachers Get Schooled in Atlantic City
As teachers stream into the Atlantic City Convention Center for the annual New Jersey Education Association Convention, their phones will suddenly light up with a series of four ads that criticize NJEA President Sean Spiller for his lavish salary, benefits, and political ambitions. Why? Because they’re all funded by NJEA members dues, which are the highest union dues in the nation.
Apparently NJEA leaders are concerned enough about this “geofencing” campaign that it has penned a response that criticizes the creator of the ads, Sunlight Foundation of New Jersey, for being a front for a nest of climate-change-denying, school-privatizing, Koch-loving ghouls. You can see NJEA’s response at the bottom.
Happy 2023 Convention!
