SFRA as Gold Doubloon
April 1, 2010Bad Friday for NJEA
April 2, 2010Is Gov. Christie “Being Tough” or “Being a Bully” with NJEA?
That’s the question asked by the New York Times today:
There’s a fine line between being tough and being a bully. Even some Republicans worry that Mr. Christie is driving too fast against traffic in fighting with teachers, acting on his own to try to rescind Bergen County’s blue laws to raise revenue and refusing to reinstate an income tax surcharge on households earning $400,000 and up. You could argue the goal should be as many good jobs, public and private, as possible, not a shared descent. But it’s hard to argue that government in New Jersey isn’t broken, which is why Mr. Christie will get a shot at fashioning a Republican model for hard times that goes beyond saying no.

It seems like you have a lot of reach in the New Jersey area. We wanted to let you know about this contest we're holding for the school systems:
BlueWater and Cisco have teamed up to offer a wireless makeover to one deserving school district. If you can tell us in 500 words or less how you would use mobility technology to unplug your school – you’ll have the chance to win a wireless makeover worth up to $35,000!
Visit http://www.winwithbluewater.com to enter the challenge!
If you could mention this or help in anyway that'd be great!
Love the blog and keep up the good work!
