Perth Amboy Mayor Helmin Caba will join with the Middlesex County Stem Charter School (MCSCS) community on Monday, December 11 at 7:00 pm for a town hall discussion with MCSC parents, teachers, staff, and other Perth Amboy residents. At the event, Mayor Caba will provide an end-of-the-year update on various community issues and take questions from those in attendance.
“Mayor Caba is a strong advocate of New Jersey public schools, and his tireless leadership for all children in Perth Amboy is valued and appreciated throughout the community, and our school is thrilled he would invest the time to update parents on a wide range of issues and initiatives happening throughout our community,” stated MCSCS School Leader Namik Sercan. “MCSCS has much to celebrate this year, and it is a direct result of the communication and relationships the school has with our elected officials. It is essential to MCSCS that we remain a focal point for Perth Amboy and ensure our priorities and values reflect the community we serve. We are thankful to have the continued involvement, direction, and support of Mayor Caba and look forward to hosting this event and ensuring communication and transparency continue in our community.”
MCSCS provides a rigorous and relevant curriculum focused on inclusive STEM practices for families throughout Perth Amboy and ensures equitable access to high-caliber STEM education through its community. MCSCS is a sister school to Central Jersey College Prep Charter School, which has been provided top honors by the U.S. News and World Report’s annual nationwide school ranking, named as “National Blue-Ribbon School” by the U.S. Department of Education, and has also been awarded by the New Jersey Department of Education with a Tier 1 designation, the highest possible ranking for a public charter school in the State.
