Newt Gingrich solves public school funding problems during his Harvard address on Friday: “Most of these [low-income] schools ought to get rid of the unionized janitors, have one master janitor and pay local students to take care of the school. Asinine indeed. Isn't this an example of the 'up-by-your-bootstraps/blame the unions for everything' mantra at the heart of the so-called education reform movement in America?
