There’s more news from Elizabeth Public Schools where (see here for background) Board of Education President Marie Munn and several employees have allegedly committed fraud by signing their kids up for free lunch even though their income makes them ineligible.
PolitickerNJ is reporting that Munn, head custodian Peter Abitanto, and employee Angela Lucio were arrested today for falsifying information on their free/reduced lunch applications. Munn, for example, is alleged to have stolen about $4K worth of free lunch and, if convicted, could face 5 years in prison and a $15K fine.

Check your facts. The other two individuals who were arrested with Marie Munn are not employees of the Elizabeth BOE. They are the husband and the ex-wife of current employees.
